What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love the experience of forming a connection with each cat and earning their trust. Every cat has their own personality and way of showing affection, and I love discovering what makes them feel safe and happy. It’s so rewarding when a shy cat starts to warm up, or when a playful one greets me like an old friend. I also enjoy keeping their routines consistent and seeing how relaxed and content they are while their family is away. Knowing I can make them feel secure brings me so much joy.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two kitties, 5 Y/o void Shadow and 1 y/o tabby Cleo. They’re the absolute love of my life and have opposing personalities. Shadow is incredibly confident and loves being around people whereas Cleo is a lot more quiet and anxious. Their common ground is food so I make sure to use their favorite treats to reward play time.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When I first got Cleo, she was incredibly anxious and is still very timid. I make sure that I give her a lot of space and treats (she loves kibble). I also have the apartment surrounded with her favorite toys and I make sure that she is feeling confident and happy by being well fed and playing around.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
