I’m an experienced animal care professional with previous background as a veterinary technician and a big soft spot for cats of every personality, from social little shadows to shy kitties who prefer to admire me from across the room.
I know that cats like things done their way, so I will follow your cat’s usual routine and give them plenty of patience, attention, and space when needed. Visits can include meals, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles, and of course, plenty of photos for you!
I am also comfortable caring for cats with more detailed medical needs. My veterinary experience helps me notice subtle changes in appetite, behavior, comfort, or energy.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I genuinely love cats, so getting to interact with cats other than my own is always fun and rewarding. Every cat has such a unique personality, whether they are playful, cuddly, shy, curious, or completely independent. I enjoy getting to know what makes each cat comfortable, learning their little quirks, and building trust with them at their own pace.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have 4 seniors cats: Pooja, Hiro, Ollie, and Joey. They each have different personalities, routines, and care needs, so I understand how important it is to provide patient, individualized care for every kitty.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
As a veterinary technician, I was trained to handle timid or anxious cats with patience, care, and a fear-free approach. I move slowly, speak calmly, avoid forcing interaction, and allow each cat to approach me when they feel comfortable. I pay close attention to their body language and respect their boundaries while still making sure their basic needs are met. My goal is to reduce stress, build trust, and help every cat feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

I feel so safe when Samantha watches my cats. My one cat takes medication twice a day so I am always nervous when I have to go away that the person watching them will not be able to give her the medication she needs with no issues. Samantha has never had a problem and I can rely on her for punctuality and great general care as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
