My name is Lina and I am a single mom of two amazing boys. I dedicate all my time to caring for animals, it’s my full time job. But I don’t view it as a job, I truly enjoy what I do and I’m lucky to have my business as a pet sitter, dog walker. On my down time I am always finding ways to help others.

I own three cats, two of which are brothers and the third cat I rescued from BARCS. And I have one small dog, a chorkie (chihuahua, yorkie mix) who I rescued from a family who had too much and couldn’t give him the proper love. He fits in great with my cats because he is small, 15lbs, doesn’t bark much unless there is someone at the door and is obidenant.

My three cats have unique personalities: King is truly the King! He is a baby! He spends his time sleeping and then demanding cuddles! His fur is super soft, the softest I have felt! TJ does not accept the word "No". If you don't pet him, he will follow you for more love! He is such a love bug! And he loves to play! He is a naughty little boy, gets into everything and is full of energy and love! He is my most playful and I'm not sure that he actually sleeps.

I have had cats in my home for my entire life so I was familiar with how to treat them, how to approach them and how to wait patiently for them to come to you. As I grew older and got my own apartment, I never imagined that I would fill it with cats because I was always more of a dog person. However, I now have three cats of my own and I've had them for about 3 years now and I love every moment with them. They fill my life with joy and although I have always been around cats and loved them, I feel like I have an even more understanding of how to make them happy and how to interact with them and truly understand by their movements and body language what they might be feeling.

When I am in a client's home with their cat or cats, I treat them as my own. I enjoy spending time with them, feeding time and I always make sure their litter is changed. I want to sit interact with the cat and try and form a bond, a connection with the cat or cats. I want the owners to feel at ease when they go away, whether for the weekend or for a whole week that their cat or cats are in good hands and will be well taken care of.

Lina was dependable, punctual, and a great communicator. She showed up when she said she would, letting us know when she was on the way. She sent lots of pictures of our kitties during her visits. She was great with our cats, winning over the shy one in no time.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
