As part of my psychology degree I took multiple classes on animal behavior. Whether you have a lovey lap cat, or a cat that likes to climb the drapes and scream all hours of the night, I have experienced it all.
I presently own 3 rescue cats who are all seniors, and all have a degree of special needs. I love creating enriching environments and games for cats to help stimulate their minds and prevent boredom. I am also down to take your cat for a walk on a harness if they are open to that! One of my three cats loves his safe and supervised outdoors time on a harness and leash.

I have three cats of my own, Sora (17), Vanitas (14) and Amelie (12). I have collectively owned seven cats over the last 27 years, and have taken care of many more.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
When cat sitting I avoid any activities that could cause a hazard, such as cooking, burning candles, handling chemicals. I also make sure any open windows have screens that are security in place, and no doors to the outside are left open. I also avoid wearing headphones or earbuds so I can be fully aware at all times in case an issue should arise, or a cat get into something they should not, such as the refrigerator or a trash can.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let timid or anxious cats approach me once they are ready to. I do my best to keep a calm and quiet environment to help reduce their likelihood of being startled or spooked. For cats who like treats such as churus I make an attempt to bond with them by offering them a parent approved snack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
