What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for most of my life! Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to become a veterinarian. Because of this, I became very good friends with the vet that my family brought our animals to - she would let me come in and watch surgeries and would send me home with all the weird stuff in little jars 😂 When I was pretty young, that same vet opened a cat shelter - and I immediately started volunteering. I have been everything from a drop-in volunteer scooping litter and cleaning, to fostering pregnant mama cats and their kittens who were born in my bedroom, to eventually becoming a member of the medical cat care team. All through the years, I have been the go-to for friends and family to ask to pet sitting, and was put on a list of local sitters at my clinic.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

In my home, I have four girls: Butterfly Cupcake (aka Nugget/Nuggie), Wini (Winifred Marie Sanderson - iykyk), Nala Beans, and Muppet! Nuggie is a short-haired tuxedo with a very cute butterfly wing pattern on her back. She is my scaredy cat who loves her mama more than anything in the world. Wini is my Halloween girl - she is a short-haired tortie with bright orange/yellow eyes. She LOVES people and receiving love and will drool all over you if you give her some attention. Nala Beans is my supermeowdel! She is a short-haired flame color-point with the brightest, deepest blue eyes. She is LOUD and BOSSY and has things to say! Muppet is my newest addition at 2 years old, and she is a funny little Devon Rex with the most perfect crimped coat and bald belly! She rules the roost and isn't scared to beat up her sisters.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I typically like to come over and meet a new cat parent and their fur kids in person, so that I can get a feel if I will be a good fit for the family. I ask that the pet parent show me the entirety of their routine with their cat(s), and that they also leave me a note or some kind of document that goes over all the specifics that were discussed during that in-person meeting. I also ask that the pet parent leave the name and number of their regular vet clinic, in case of emergency.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
