Cats have been my obsession since I was sentient enough to know what they were! I have had cats since I was 4 years old, and enjoy them so much that they have bled into my volunteer life as well. Because of this, I know how extremely important it is to pick the right person to care for your cats while you are away. I completely empathize with the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur babies, and want to make that process as smooth as possible for you! I welcome all of the “crazy” requests (they aren’t, I promise), the silly routines, and the quirks of each individual cat that I sit for, because, trust me, I’ve been there! I will make sure that your babies are fed, happy, and as well cared for as if they were my own, regardless of personality or spice level.
I am happy to travel within most parts of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County, and try to have as much flexibility as I can for you and your fur babies. If I am outside of your range, shoot me a message and I can see if we can make things work!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Being the person that I would want to sit for my own cats! I want to make sure that everything is done exactly as specified so that the pet parents can relax knowing that their babies are being taken care of they way that they would.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I recently sat for my fellow foster with her 10 cats (5 residents, 5 fosters), and it was the best feeling when the more shy individuals finally trusted me enough to come and say hello, give some head boops, and let me pet them! I love making a connection with a cat and knowing that they feel safe.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 cats at the moment, 3 of which are foster fails from a litter I fostered 2 summers ago! 3 voids names Apple, Nara, and BooBoo, and my senior girl, Matcha, who has a bunch of medical issues and no teeth!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
First things first - let's talk and see what yours and your fur babies' needs are! I typically like to set up a meet and greet in advance of when services are needed, where I can meet the kitties, get a lay of the land, and learn more about your routines and requirements while you are away.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am incredibly cautious when opening doors, ensuring everything remains locked up, and doing a head count before I leave the drop-in! Keys will be stored in whichever way you prefer (kept with me, locked in a lock box, in a secure location, etc.), and doors and windows will be secured and locked before I leave the property.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Having cats of my own means I am home the majority of the time. In the event that I am unavailable, it'll show on my schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Harper Woods cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
