From playful kittens to independent adults and senior cats, I'm comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to know each cat's unique personality. Having had cats my whole life, I've learned that every cat is different—some are playful and outgoing, while others are shy and take time to warm up. I love earning their trust, spending quality time with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. It's incredibly rewarding to see a nervous cat become more relaxed or a curious cat come out to play. Knowing I can give both cats and their owners peace of mind makes cat sitting something I truly enjoy.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have three cats of my own named Marco, Buddy, and Spooky. Caring for my own cats has only strengthened my passion for providing the same level of care and attention to every cat I look after.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Your cat's safety and your home's security are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions and maintain your cat's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I always double-check that your cat is safely inside before entering or leaving your home. During each visit, I'll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and I'll keep an eye out for any changes in their behavior or health. If I notice anything unusual, I'll contact you right away. I'll also treat your home with the utmost respect by locking up securely after every visit and keeping everything clean and tidy.

We’ve used Riley many times and she is just the BEST cat sitter! We have two cats who have very different personalities and both love her equally! She is an excellent communicator and always provides photo updates. She goes the extra mile with every single visit. One of our cats needed liquid medication and everyone knows how difficult that can be but Riley handled it perfectly! She managed to give our cat the medicine and still stay on our cat’s good side. We appreciated her willingness to do the difficult task while we were out of town. Riley is always our first choice to watch our four legged family members while we are out of town. We cannot recommend her enough!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Rochester cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
