Hi, I'm Charity Settell and I'm from Burnsville, Minnesota. I work in customer service/retail/sales and am working to move more into working with animals and with things that heal. I do school online for herbalism and Reiki healing and am working towards getting certified in those and taking others, like animal communication.

I`ve always had so much love for animals, cats in particular because they`re intelligent, unique, precious, loving, loveable animals and so much more. They`re my favorite animals and I have a special connection with them. I`ve been around animals my whole life, with my family having many different dogs and cats all of growing up, and working around different animals throughout life as well. I would pet sit when I was younger for family and neighbors, along with babysitting. I fostered a kitten before and nursed him back to health and found him his forever home... I would pet sit when I was younger for family and neighbors, along with babysitting. I fostered a kitten before and nursed him back to health and found him his forever home. I took him to vet appointments and administered his medication every day multiple times a day. I gave him eardrops, eyedrops, and pills.

I have two beautiful, happy cats at home that are about 5 years old and I`ve been their caretaker for about 5 years. My girl cat Gypsy is diagnosed with cat anemia and is on multiple different medications. 2 pills everyday as well as a syringe of a fluid medication given orally. I have also used a furr mousse for skin patches she had, and if she occasionally has chin acne. She is on her journey to better health, and being balanced with her health. My boy cat Keelow is happy and healthy! As a cat sitter, I would always make sure your cats are taken care of with love, respect, patience, and compassion, making sure they always have what they need, whether that`s fresh water, food, medication, playtime, pets, etc. I will make sure to get to know your cats and do what I can to be the best sitter they have ever had! I`m a caring person with a big heart and I love to learn and grow. I`d love the opportunity to meet your amazing cats and help in any way I can!

Areas that work best for me are the Dakota County and Twin Cities area, 9AM-9PM works best, but I am willing to do overnights and I`m flexible. Thank You!

I have been cat sitting for a couple years now and I love it so much! I have sat for many different cats shy and outgoing and I have a great time no matter what!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cats. Gypsy and Keelow, they are 5 years old almost 6 now. They are both very sweet, happy, beautiful, and loving cats. They are a bonded pair & come from the same litter. I adopted them when they were only 3 months old and have had them ever since. Gypsy is diagnosed with anemia and is on different medications to help her with that.

I had an amazing experience with Charity! She was very friendly and communicative - sending me pictures and keeping me up to date on my cat. She was also very flexible on time - I had reached out to her on short notice because I had a flight the next morning, and she was kind enough to come over to my place the same evening to pick up the keys and meet my cat. Working with her was an amazing experience and I would definitely be doing so again!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
