Some history is that I have babysat friends and family members kitties. I’m comfortable giving a bottle to a kitten and administering medicine as I have in the past. P.S. I don’t mind the age of a kitten or service that might be needed. I also don’t mind cats that might not be friendly as I have some experience with shy and expressive cats... Hi my name is Lesny and I’m a college student. I speak both English and Spanish. I have 4 cats. One is turning older while the other ones are almost reaching 1 year. I’m a cat lady.
Some history is that I have babysat friends and family members kitties. I’m comfortable giving a bottle to a kitten and administering medicine as I have in the past. P.S. I don’t mind the age of a kitten or service that might be needed. I also don’t mind cats that might not be friendly as I have some experience with shy and expressive cats.
I offer full services such as feeding and giving them water, if preferred I could wash their dishes before and after if instructed. Clean litter box and sweep litter if they take some out. I will also clean any accidents that your cat might have. I will let you know of these accidents. I’ll also administer any medication that might be needed, might need more details to know if there is a way you do it. I’ll also play with them/interact with them. I can also do some simple house tasks. I’ll send pictures and videos per each visit. I’ll send mini paragraphs as updates and if requested I can let you know when I arrive and leave.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 cats. My oldest is 7 and her name is Luna. The other three are soon to be 1. Their names are Tomas, Simba and Firu.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
When arriving and leaving I’ll make sure to see that they are there and that they are safe. I’ll also see their behavior to know they’ll like for me to invade their space or give them their own time with minimizing my presence.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
With timid or anxious cats I like to first check that they are safe and good. I’ll give them their time and not make too much sound. If asked to stay there I’ll try to minimize my presence by just sitting or standing. If not I’ll try to use a toy to start building familiarity. Also I’ll let them come to me rather than going to them.

Lesney was absolutely wonderful to work with! When she came to meet us she was very pleasant and friendly, and shared photos of her own cats, which is always a good indicator of a dedicated cat person. She also let our 3-year-old cat Luna greet her by sniffing her hand before she touched her, which is also great. Lesny was very consistent with sending us daily updates and photos, which helped us feel more comfortable leaving Luna for more than a week. I will definitely be contacting Lesny the next time we leave town!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
