I have two tuxedo kitties one is named Tabie Tops, the other is Murbo. Tabie Tops is an old man, but Murbo is a young, playful girl. They are the bestest of friends!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

When I’m cat sitting, my priority is keeping both your pet and your home safe and well cared for. I follow your cat’s routine closely—feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, and any medications if needed—to help them feel comfortable and secure. I also monitor their behavior and health, and will contact you right away if anything seems out of the ordinary. For the home, I make sure all doors and windows are locked during and after each visit, and I’m happy to adjust lights, blinds, or bring in mail to give the home a lived-in look if you’re away. I’m very respectful of your space and always leave things clean and as I found them.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When caring for anxious or timid cats, I take a slow and gentle approach, giving them plenty of space and time to adjust. I avoid sudden movements or loud noises, which can increase their stress. Instead of approaching them directly, I let them come to me when they feel ready. I sit quietly near them, using soft tones and offering treats or toys to build trust. I also maintain a consistent routine to provide a sense of security. Patience is key, and I respect their boundaries while gradually building trust at their own pace.

We will always use Morgan! We’ve done two trips away from home and Morgan is the only reason we can travel at all! It generally takes a long time for our brood to take to anyway, and even during the first trip, she was able to make our kitties comfortable and happy while we were away. By the second trip, she was an old friend to them! She took care of everything we asked of her, but went above and beyond as she also took the time to play and cuddle them, and of course send sweet pics of our fur babies! Thank you Morgan, for being their auntie while we were away! It means the world to know they have good care when we can’t be there.

Morgan was absolutely the kitty sitter we hoped for! Reliable, communicative and a total cat charmer! I’m always a ball of nerves leaving my kitties when we travel, as we have a bigger brood (6 kitties total), some shy guys and an older cat who needs meds and more specialized care and attention. During our meet and greet, Morgan was perfectly on time, picked up on and understood all our needs (kitty and human!) and when time came to leave town, she stepped in as temporary kitty guardian seemlessly! She sent us wonderful daily updates, explained the gradual but very fast formed friendship with our shyest boy (which impressed us greatly, as it took only two visits for him to show his face!) and she knew just how to handle and care for our older kitty and her specialized needs and routine 😸 We are so grateful we found her and will be calling on her anytime we need a temp kitty guardian again!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
