I’m comfortable administering medications, scooping litter boxes, and ... I’m a dependable and experienced cat sitter with a genuine love for cats. I’ve been a cat owner since my teenage years (currently have 3 of my own cats!) and have hands-on experience caring for cats of all personalities. I’ve also volunteered with CareSTL and Tenth Life Cat Rescue, which gave me experience working with shy, sensitive, and special-needs cats.
I’m comfortable administering medications, scooping litter boxes, and making sure your cat gets quality playtime and attention while you’re away. I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ cats, so I understand how important it is to keep their routine consistent and stress-free.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats for many years, starting with my own cats since I was a teenager (I’m 42 years-old now). In addition to being a longtime cat owner, I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ cats while they’ve been out of town. I’ve volunteered with CareSTL and Tenth Life Cat Rescue, where I gained hands-on experience working with cats of different temperaments, including shy and anxious cats. Through both personal and volunteer experience, I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, and administering medications. Overall, I bring several years of consistent, hands-on experience caring for cats in both home and shelter environments.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I’m typically available during holidays, as I rarely travel and understand that this is when reliable care is needed the most. I’m usually able to accommodate holiday requests and do my best to be flexible during these times.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I take a very calm, patient approach with timid or anxious cats and always let them set the pace. I never force interaction…. instead, I give them space, move slowly, and keep my voice and energy low so they feel safe in their environment. I pay close attention to their body language and adjust accordingly. For some cats, that may mean simply sitting quietly in the room so they can observe me from a distance. For others, I’ll use gentle play or treats (if approved) to help build trust over time. My experience volunteering with shelters and caring for different personalities has taught me that consistency and respect are key. My goal is to reduce stress, not push interaction, so your cat feels as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
