Cat Sitting in Saint Louis, MO

My name is Jamie Glaser. I have one cat, a beautiful calico named Audrey. At my former job, I was a nanny for a family and fell in love with their cat! He's the best, and still remembers me when I come back to babysit for the family. I currently volunteer at an animal shelter where I walk the dogs and spend time with the cats. I realize some cats are nervous and if they aren't into being petted I just speak softly to them and sit with them for awhile.

I have pet sat for a few families with both dogs and cats, and enjoyed working with both. My most recent pet sitting Job has been caring for a friend's cat while she was out of town.
I am also a nanny for a young family full time. I greatly enjoy working with both children and pets.
I take precautions against covid-19 in that I have been vaccinated and I wear a face covering while indoors in public places. I am excited to begin cat sitting for Meowtel and meeting all of the wonderful families and their cats in my community!

Jamie is experienced at insulin injections with one of my cats so I appreciate that since it's so difficult to find a sitter who can do medical injections. She takes great care of my three cats!!

Jaime really came through for me, I appreciate her being flexible on time. My cats seemed happy and cared for when I came home. And my many extra cat dishes were clean which I did not ask her to do. Thanks!

I appreciate the care she provides to my three kitties. One is diabetic so to find a sitter that can do insulin is wonderful and provides me peace of mind when I'm away.

Jamie has been awesome! she’s so sweet and my cats immediately took to her and they both were in excellent spirits when I got back from my trip. The last time I went out of town they both were super stressed out and one got a bladder infection so to come home to both of them being happy campers was huge for us!

Jamie is a trusted and capable sitter for my three cats one of which is diabetic, so she is skilled at administering insulin twice a day for him. It's so difficult to find a sitter who can do injections, so I appreciate her being available.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Saint Louis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
