Learning their unique quirks, needs, and personalities has been one of my greatest joys, and has given me the intuition to care for all kinds of feline temperaments and stages of life. I also have extensive experience administering daily pill medications and caring for asthmatic kitties who require inhaler meds.

For the first time since I can remember, I have no pets of my own, which means my schedule is wide open and my focus is 100% on your cat’s happiness, safety, and comfort. I can't wait to spoil your babies! 😸

Learn More About Beverly

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been the go-to cat sitter for my friends and family for years, and recently expanded toward professional cat sitting.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

The most important part of this process is making sure your cat feels comfortable and safe while you’re away. That’s going to look different for each cat, because they’re such sensitive, routine-focused little guys. So I like to take whatever information I can about their needs and preferences in order to make the experience pleasant and stress-free for them, and for you.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Let’s be real, that’s up to the cat. 😜But if I had to pick, my very first kitty, Gypsy, loved to play fetch with catnip mice, so I have a soft spot for those.

I cannot recommend Bev highly enough! She recently cat-sat for my two cats—Pip and my new kitten, Poe—and she truly went above and beyond in every single way. Having a young kitten is a lot of work. Poe is at that stage where he’s constantly exploring and getting into everything, so he requires a ton of time, energy, mindfulness, and diligence. On top of that, he has an independent feeding schedule separate from Pip. Bev handled everything effortlessly—she kept their feeding schedules on track, fed them separately, and kept a close, watchful eye on Poe so I never had to worry. From day one, I trusted her completely with him. Her communication was incredible throughout the whole stay. She checked in every day with thoughtful updates, photos, and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. To top it all off, when my flight got delayed and my trip was extended last minute, Bev didn't hesitate for a second—she immediately agreed to stay longer to cover for me. I came home to two very happy, well-loved cats and an apartment that was left super clean. Bev genuinely loves cats, and her care and dedication shine through in everything she does. I will 100% be booking her again!

I can't recommend Beverly highly enough. She watched my cat Mama for a weekend while I was away, and I came home to a happy cat and a home left exactly as I'd found it. I'm very particular about Mama's care, and Beverly put me at ease right away. She's trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can tell she treats the animals she looks after like her own. If you want someone dependable who takes the job seriously, Beverly is your person.

Beverly is the best cat sitter I've ever had, and it's not even close! I've had the pleasure of using her services multiple times and I can't express how much of a relief it's been to simply not have to worry about how my kitty is being cared for. My Frankie is the sweetest cat you'll ever meet, but she is a bit "high maintenance": she is prone to anxiety, needs a lot of attention and reassurance, and requires daily medication for asthma. Beverly has always been amazing with her. My impression is that Beverly is the only cat sitter who has really given Frankie the level of care, patience, and comfort she needs while her daddy is traveling. Frankie is always so happy in the photo and video updates I get from Beverly, and it's clear that she is completely in her element with Beverly when I go to pick her up again. I can't recommend Beverly as a cat sitter highly enough. She loves cats more than anyone else I've met and she was born to do this. Thank you Beverly, from me and Frankie!

Bev is extremely knowledgeable about cats - common health issues, what makes them anxious, and what's best to do about any or all of it. This is because she loves them so much, which is also why she's so reliable and goes above and beyond to ensure a cat is comfortable, happy, and properly cared for. A kitty truly couldn't be in better hands than hers!

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Asheville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
