Hi there! 👋 I’m Cassandra, avid cat lover and owner of 3 beautiful felines myself (often referred to as my fur babies, but don’t tell my husband). All 3 of my floofs have distinct personalities as does every cat I’ve ever met! I come from a background as a licensed veterinary technician for 9+ years so I’ve met my share of personality filled kitties! This has allowed me to have great understanding in how to handle and take care of kitties of all shapes, sizes and needs. This is something that gives me great confidence in being a cat sitter... Hi there! 👋 I’m Cassandra, avid cat lover and owner of 3 beautiful felines myself (often referred to as my fur babies, but don’t tell my husband). In pet sitting, I think it’s important to not simply conduct a pet visit and leave, but to truly check in with our feline friends. A little more about me - I tend to lean into being a very bubbly person, but with our feline companions some do better with a calm and more quiet environment, so being adaptable to their need is important! I love all kitties of every shape and size (even the spicy ones!) and one day would love to own a Sphynx, Maine Coon or Ragdoll (although I literally will adopt whatever in the cat distribution system finds me!). I’d love a chance to meet your furry companion and appreciate your consideration in allowing me to care for them!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 3 floofs myself, and their names correspond to their personalities! Sir Kristoff Fernando (with a name like “sir” you can only imagine- he’s one of my lynx point Siamese babies with the most beautiful blue eyes). Mr Kricket Bear (the gentlest soul you could ever meet- he’s a big baby and is my ginger and white fluff ball). Princess Kiara Katherine (the lady of the house and she believes truly everyone is beneath her- however she has the sweetest personality if she allows you into her inner circle).

What is your favorite cat toy?

To be honest, you can’t go wrong with a good, ole fashioned card board box. Every time I get a package it becomes the newest highlight and is often chosen over every pet bed and toy in the house.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

This goes back to trying to understand personalities and needs. Most cats tend to hide when new people approach, but being patient and understanding they do need space is important. Give them time to settle, not chasing after their affection but working to gain trust and confidence to hopefully make a special connection.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
