All the needs and wants of your cat:
- Feeding and giving water to your cat. I can give any specified amount of any food or give enough food for free feeding. I can also refill any water bowl, fountain, or plate for your cat to drink as they’d please.
- Scooping your cats litter box. By booking me you receive the finest litter box scooping your cat can receive. I am willing to do a thorough scooping as many times as you and your cat would like.
- Playing with your cat. Your cat will get to play with whatever toy they’d like as much as they’d like with me. Rope toys, mice, their favorite stuffed animal, etc. I will make sure your cat gets worn out and content as can be... Nice to meet you! I’m a current animal science major at NC State hoping to become a veterinarian in the future. Let me tell you about some of the great things you would receive by booking me as a sitter!

Experience that will ensure the greatest care for your cat:
- Veterinary technician experience. I have worked as a Vet Tech in the past, giving me both medical and behavioral knowledge of cats that could prove useful for you.
- I have volunteered at humane society‘s, giving me plenty of time with cats of all types and personalities.
- I have taken care of my own two cats, Pearl and Opal, so I know just how important your cats can be to you.
Medical abilities for any cats with special requirements:
- I am capable of administering any oral medications whether in pill, liquid, gel, or in any other form.
- I am capable of administering any medications through needles or syringes whether orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously.
- I am capable of administering all other types of medications as well, such as topical, ocular, or rectal medications.
- I am capable of using cat inhalers.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to bond with and spoil the cats I’m with. I love making sure that the cats I am with are as happy and fulfilled as possible. Treats (within reason), long play sessions, snuggles, I love doing them all.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two babiesI got from my local humane society at home: Pearl who is a gray tabby around 5 years old and Opal who is a brown tabby with huge eyes around 1 year old. If you have seen those jokes online about one cat being a demon and one cat being an angel, Pearl is definitely the demon and Opal is the angel.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Safety is in my opinion the most important thing to keep in mind when taking care of cats. Any cats owners know as well as I do that cats can easily get themselves into trouble. I make sure to always keep my eyes on cats I am taking care of and make sure they are both entertained and safe at all times to keep them happy and unharmed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Raleigh cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
