I have had my sweet boy, Oshie, for 6 years now. He was a stray that dealt with a few gruesome injuries, so I would do anything to keep him safe and happy now. I will treat your cat with the same love and care that I do for Oshie. I completely understand the stress that comes with having to leave your beloved pets at home while traveling - I am here to alleviate that stress. Hi there, I’m Allie (or as my family loves to call me, Allie-cat)! I live in Raleigh, but grew up in Virginia, and am a life long cat lover. My family had cats my whole childhood, all with different personalities, so I am comfortable caring for all cats regardless of age, medical needs, or special quirks.

All my visits include litter box cleaning, fresh water and food, playtime, cuddles & rubs (if your kitty is the cuddling type), and anything else you’d like for me to do for you and your cat! I am also happy to complete other tasks around the house like watering plants, bringing in mail/packages, and washing pet related dishes.
**Meowtel allows sitters to select their service area based on zip code, however some zip codes cover a very widespread area. I prefer clients that are at most 15 minutes from my apartment. If you’d like to see how far we live from each other, please search Good Graces restaurant, that location will give you a good estimate. If you are a bit over 15 minutes away but are still interested in booking with me please message me and I’ll see if I can accommodate. Also, if you’d like to book with me but I do not have availability for your dates please send me a message and I may be able to accommodate for that as well. Thank you for understanding!**
Prior to reservation dates, I like to meet you and your cat(s) in person, if possible, so I can get to know them, their routine, likes and dislikes, and any special instructions.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I cat sit for a couple with two sweet girls. Although their girls have a nice stainless steel water fountain that is always running, they will only drink out of a coffee mug on the counter! It has to be one specific coffee mug too, not just any coffee mug. This always makes me laugh but I am happy to oblige and fill their special mug with fresh water every day.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I understand that when you are away you want your pets and your home to be safe and cared for. I will ensure your home is the same when you return as it was when you left. I am comfortable with anything from apartment buildings where you have to key fob in through multiple entrances to houses with alarm systems. I will follow any specific instructions - like entering through the garage, wearing a mask, or leaving certain lights on. My cat tries to be sneaky and run out of my apartment door sometimes so I am very aware of my surroundings when coming and going, and I will certainly do the same at your home.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I usually stay in the area for most holidays so I am happy to care for your cat(s) if you are traveling.

Allie is TREMENDOUS and I am already planning to reserve her for my next travel dates. My situation is a bit unique in that i have two cats, but one is very anxious and requires medicine and a watchful eye while I'm away, especially for long durations. Allie not only followed all of my very detailed instructions to the letter, but also went above and beyond to come up with creative ways to administer his medicine when he was scared and resisting. She was an exceptional communicator each and every day, assuring me with plenty of videos and pics that all was well. She was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and thorough - she sets the bar high for this service and I'm so deeply grateful to her.

Everything went very smoothly. Allie did a “ meet and greet “ before our trip so she got to know our baby a little bit. Each time she came by she sent updates, pictures and some brief videos. Being able to see our kitty and know that she was fine gave me great peace of mind. Everything was perfect when we got back too. I will definitely use Allie again and highly recommend her.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Raleigh cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
