Jessica is fantastic! She sent daily photos and updates on all of our cats. She cleaned up after their shenanigans and made sure they all felt loved and cared for. She even took pictures of the stray cat we feed. Would definitely have Jessica sit for us again.

Jessica was wonderful! She was prompt at responding to messages. I got great pictures everyday and she made sure to include a small update on my kitties. I felt like my cats were very well cared for while I was away. When I got home everything was clean and orderly. She even did me a huge favor and watered my garden for me which was amazing. I had never used Meowtel before and was nervous about having a stranger care for my babies but Jessica was awesome! I highly recommend her!

Jessica was so great with my cats, who turned out to be more high maintenance than expected as well as home issues that arose that she jumped in to assist with. she was able to get my shy kitty to come out for food, pets and even medicine. Everything was in perfect order when I got home and I had to no worries being gone so long. she sent plenty of updates and pictures which I appreciated. we will miss her when she moves.

Jessica did such a wonderful job. I can’t praise her enough. 🙌 First off, she did such a terrific job taking care of my two boys. She was right on time for all feedings, played with them, scooped — even brought in some litter that was delivered while I was gone. Best was how she documented everything she did in messages and photos. 📸 I came back home to two very happy cats. I hope to book Jessica again someday soon. Jessica was great with our cats while we were away! They were well fed and cared for - Jessica followed all our instructions and bonded well with our more outgoing girl. The boy stayed out of sight but that is par for the course with him - Jessica left his food in a safe place where he could get to it. She sent great pics with her daily updates. We felt at ease that they were taken care of!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Wilmington cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We can't thank Jessica enough! After needing to leave town suddenly, Jessica was able to step in and help take care of our two kitties. Communication was a breeze, and she went above and beyond to make sure our babies- and home and packages!- were taken care of. It's not easy to leave your pets when you are away, but Jessica made everything easier. Will definitely be using again!
