Hello! My name is LisaJo and I am the fur mama to two beautiful kitties: Allie (Calico) and Jewel (Tortie).

I am an aspiring photographer and also serve part-time in the National Guard as a public affairs specialist, meaning I take lots of pictures! While my job has me traveling sometimes, whenever home I love to spend time with my own little whiskers or with yours!

I’ve owned at least one cat for at least the past 20 years, and I do my best to always take care of them - playing with toys, belly rubs, brushing, treats, etc. Whatever the cat finds most enjoyable, I’m happy to provide during our time together (along with food, water and litter box cleanings as well).

And if your fur baby is more relaxed (like my older boy at home), I’m happy to just sit with them on my lap, give a few pets while listening to some soothing music and reading. Just let me know!

I am available in the Papillion-LaVista (and some surrounding Omaha areas) most evenings and weekends. If you don’t see my availability listed, please message me to ask! Thank you!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One kitty was super shy and his owner expected him to hide the entire week she was away. But I would lay on the floor next to the bed he was hiding under and talk to him. On the third day, he came out from hiding and we became great friends - playing the rest of the time his mom was away! He even started greeting me at the door each visit!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two: Allie and Jewel. My sweet baby boy, Husker, recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge at almost 17 years old.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Holidays vary for me, but I have cat-sat most over holidays recently! I really enjoyed sitting over Christmas/New Years when I wasn’t able to spend time with my family, I was glad to help take care of someone else’s fur baby so they could have the peace of mind to travel to see their families for the holiday.

Lisa was my first experience with a cat sitter and I couldn’t be more pleased! She takes time to play with my cats every visit and sends 10+ photos each visit (amazing!) She also cleans up after the cats better than I do some days. This is amazing to come home to after a long trip. One of my cats requires a daily inhaler and Lisa did great with administering it to her. Her little touches really add up and I will always choose her to watch my babies

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
