Many of my cat... Hi! I’m a dedicated cat lover and experienced cat caretaker. I currently have 13 cats of my own, ranging in age from 1 and a half years old to 9 years old, so I have hands-on experience caring for cats from playful young cats to mature adults. I’m familiar with both long-hair and short-hair cats and comfortable with brushing, grooming, feeding routines, litter box cleaning, and giving cats the patience and attention they need.
Many of my cats were originally strays that I rescued from my backyard. I took the time to slowly earn their trust and help them feel safe, which taught me a lot about patience and understanding cat behavior.
When I care for someone’s home and pets, I treat them like my own. I’m kind, gentle, reliable, and I always make sure everything is left clean and tidy after each visit. My goal is for your cats to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I started cat sitting my friend's cats and eventually started cat sitting for other people in the same neighborhood. I have been doing it for 6 years now!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy meeting new cats and patiently earning their trust. Watching shy cats slowly open up to me is the best feeling.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When I meet a timid or anxious cat, I try to put myself in their place. New people can be scary for cats, so I move slowly, speak softly, and give them space. I never force interaction. I usually sit nearby and let them come to me when they feel comfortable. Many of my own cats were originally strays from my backyard, so I’m used to working with shy cats that need time to trust. I’ve learned that patience makes a big difference. It’s really rewarding when a nervous cat slowly starts to relax and feel safe around me.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
