I'm Justin
Cat Sitting in Reno, NV
Sometimes life can take us away from our pets, making us unavailable to feed, play with, or just being present with our cats. As a father of 2 feline babies who travels away from home often, I understand how stressed our babies can be when we aren't by their side.
As your pet sitter, I will be there for your cats by taking notes to understand your cats' needs, knowing your house rules and traditions (like ... Hi! I'm Justin, and it would be an honor to take care of your feline babies 😊
Sometimes life can take us away from our pets, making us unavailable to feed, play with, or just being present with our cats. As a father of 2 feline babies who travels away from home often, I understand how stressed our babies can be when we aren't by their side.
As your pet sitter, I will be there for your cats by taking notes to understand your cats' needs, knowing your house rules and traditions (like no shoes in home), and make sure your baby is in the best possible care that I may give them 😁
Whatever you invest to me, I will give back to the families of cats by providing more treats and toys to not only help you but other cats that need love. As cat parents, we don't just love our own fur babies, but we love all cats and want the best for them! 😸
If you believe that I may be a good match for your cat or if you have any inquiries, feel free to reach out! Hope to see you soon! 😊

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two 4 year olds, male and female! They are named Dar'jo and J'zari, named after my gaming characters 😊
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Look for a cat sitter that has patience and, at minimum, basic understanding of cat behavior and how their psychology works. Cats are much more different from how dogs and humans think, and it's important to understand this in my opinion.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I will message you to arrange a good time to meet your kitty. At arrival, I will ask some basic questions like "What's their personality?" Or "How are they with unfamiliar people?" Just to get to know your cat better 😊 Once I understand the cat and know the location of their litter box, food, food and water bowl, and their usual hiding place (if any). For new cat parents, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If I don't know the answer, I will suggest a source to go to for it 😊

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Reno cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
