When I go on vacation I always book a cat sitter because cats are very territorial and to remove them from your home will cause untold stress, so let me treat your felines to a caring sitter.
Having a diabetic feline myself, and being a diabetic too, I know how important it is to stay on schedule with insulin injections and proper feeding. They are more than a pet, they are out our loved if not sometimes insane children too and deserve comfort and love while you are away recharging yourself.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been been in the Reno/Sparks area since 1986 and cat sitting for the last 10 years. Cats have needs beyond just fresh food and water, they want a tidy litter box and they need affection. You may rely on me to provide any basic or advanced needs your felines may require during your absence. I understand that cats are territorial and that they should not be boarded outside a home. I always wear fresh clothing and shoe covers so that your felines are protected and not subjected to any cross contamination . My life has been enriched immensely by owning cats so I understand that while they are independent they also dependent on us provide them with proper care. I am background checked and have held several positions that require the upmost in confidentiality so you can trust me with your felines and your home.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Seeing the love in their eyes and witnessing how how playful and curious they are. From kittens to seniors every cat being me joy.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three felines, all are rescues and domestic short hair variety with major Russian Blue traits. Their names are Mouse Kay and Boris
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I will meet with you prior to your departure to meet your feline(s) and to understand their care routine. While you are gone I will provide you a daily update with pictures. After you return, I will follow up to ensure you were happy with my service.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am retired so I typically available during holidays.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
