My cats-
My own cats have needed medicine including injections and subcutaneous fluids, I know it's hard to leave them at home. I have given multiple cats fluids and handled my cat that had diabetes. I did dressing changes and monitor changes for her as well. Between proper diets and important feeding times I am very punctual. I have also had to cook their food due to dietary needs... As someone who has had many cats of all kinds I am equipped to handle anything!

All of my cats have been rescues including very shy, scared ferals.
Other experience-
I also volunteer at the Humane society nearby and help take care of those kitties as well. At most I have pet sat for 8 cats at once of different ages. Those 8 cats had 4 different food types and feeding areas. I have sat for cats of all ages (kittens to seniors). I did petsit once for a cat that had seizures and had to comfort the kitty after them.
All cats are different and deserve love and care to the highest degree, especially when their people aren't home.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to get to know you and how often you want pictures and check-ups. Next is learning the cats names, what they look like, and their personality. I like to then have all the information on food, treats, and toys you want to give me. I take through notes, which I send to you to make sure we haven't missed anything.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I have extreme flexibility when it comes to days, times, holidays, and overnights. I also am able to adapt to your cat's schedule.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them come to me. I also talk to them all the time whether they want me to or not. My newest cat was a very timid boy and he became friendly once he knew I wouldn't touch him unless he wanted me to.

Cassandra was able to come feed the cats on very short notice. we have her booked for a couple weeks out but she very graciously accepted when I had a death in the family. I got daily pics and updates. and she was even able to handle my skittish boy. The note and treats (both human and cat) were so appreciated. She also tidied our bathroom and kitchen. so nice after an incredibly long week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Sparks cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
