Yes, I’m a dedicated cat owner to four wonderful cats: Oliver (8), Koji (3), Jack (1), and Gracie (1). Caring for them daily has given me a strong understanding of feline behavior, routines, and individual personalities. I also had a cat named Binx, who lived to be 14 years old. I raised him from just 2 months old, which was an incredibly meaningful experience and further deepened my commitment to providing loving, lifelong care for cats.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I prioritize safety and security by carefully following all client instructions and maintaining a consistent, calm environment for the cats. I always double-check doors, windows, and entry points to ensure they are secure and prevent any chance of escape. I’m mindful of potential hazards in the home, such as unsafe foods, small objects, or open spaces, and make sure the environment remains safe at all times. I also pay close attention to each cat’s behavior and well-being, so I can quickly notice if anything seems unusual. Clear communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates to owners for added peace of mind while they’re away.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I approach timid or anxious cats with patience and respect for their boundaries. I never force interaction and instead allow the cat to come to me at their own pace. I focus on creating a calm, quiet environment and stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel secure. I pay close attention to body language and adjust my approach based on their comfort level—whether that means sitting nearby quietly, speaking softly, or offering gentle interaction if they’re receptive. Over time, this helps build trust and allows the cat to feel safe and relaxed in my care. I also provide regular updates to owners, so they feel reassured knowing their cat is safe, comfortable, and gradually building trust with me.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
