If I babysit your cat, you do not need to worry. I will do everything in my power to make them as comfortable as possible, and make sure they are well taken care of while you are not home. I would not even consider this a job, babysitting your cats would be a privilege. I will also send lots of pictures and videos to you!
I work 8:30-5, Monday to Friday, but nothing will interfere with my kitty-sitting jobs, your cats will always be my top priority... I would be a good cat sitter because to me, nothing is more important than the well-being and safety of your cats. I have five cats at home whom I love very much and love taking care of. I have worked at an animal shelter before and babysat many cats, which I have enjoyed very much. As your sitter, I promise that I will care for your cats like they are my own.

Regarding Covid, I am fully vaccinated, with the booster as well. I am more than willing to wear a mask for every visit if that would make you more comfortable. I will also wash my hands before I get there and before I start caring for your cats. I will also use hand sanitizer as much as possible. Let me know what will make you the most comfortable and I will work accordingly!
I have put the rates that the app recommend for me, but I am always willing to work something out, I just want to make sure your cats are taken care of! That is the most important thing to me! Also wanted to let you know that Meowtel charges extra for holidays, which includes three days before and three days after the day of the holiday!

This is the second time Nora has cared for my cats, and I was so happy she was available for visits during my recent trip. She sends frequent photos, videos, and messages and is always quick with responses to questions. I could see from the videos that she took time for the cats to get used to her and that they felt comfortable very quickly. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Rensselaer cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Lenore is aMEOWZING at kitty-sitting!!! My kitties Tigger (orange 8-year old CHONK) and Flink (grey, 1, 1/2 year old, small, chaos goblin) are very different in temperament and purrsonality and she handled both with gusto and love. My furr babies clearly adored Lenore, giving her licks, demanding pets, eating well, playing, behaving (and Flink NEVER behaves!) and just desperately wanting her attention in general. Lenore always sent me timely feedback, wonderful pics and videos and responded to any requests I had re: care and feeding. The boys were clearly happy and loved while I was away and that took at great deal off my mind. I felt completely at ease knowing someone as special and compassionate as Lenore was giving them the care and attention they needed while I was away. It took off so much stress to leave them with that kind of peace of mind. It also made my being away less stressful for them. I recommend Lennore to infinity and beyond! If the highest star rating is 5, I give her 15 stars!
