I have always felt a deep bond with cats, I understand how important it is to approach each cat based on their own specific needs and personalities. I will care for each cat with the patience and respect that they deserve.
Building trust with your cat is very important to me and in order to do that I will be sure to give them the space to feel safe and approach me at their own pace. I am a very attentive cat sitter and your cats happiness and comfortability is most important to me.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Iāve been caring for cats for 5+ years. My friends love to refer to me as āBrooklynās resident cat sitter.ā Iāve always felt a special bond with cats. I absolutely love it and have had nothing but wonderful experiences.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a 12 year old cat named Avery! Heās a tabby and the love of my life. He can be very timid and anxious but I took the time to let him feel safe with me and our bond is one of the most beautiful and special parts of my life.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience is the most important thing. Every cat has their own specific needs and should be approached accordingly. I will always make sure an anxious cat knows that the ball is in their court and that I am happily waiting for them whenever they are ready.

Randy has looked after my cats on multiple occasions, and they all love her, especially my big ginger boy who thinks she is his bestie. I trust Randy to take care of the specific medicinal needs for another of the cats and her natural warmth and love for them really came through the first time I introduced her to them. If and when I am out of town I am always happy to have Randy cat-sit and look after them. I have trust and confidence that they are well looked after. Highly recommend Randy, she's the best!

Randy is the most trusting, warm and caring cat sitter you will hire for your kittens. I have three cats and have trusted Randy to look after them several times. As a cat mom, I know how big of a decision that can be. When Randy looks after my babies, she makes me feel safe, comfortable and like they are getting the attention, play time and affection they deserve while I'm away. Randy is thorough with her updates, always sending the best photos, videos and lengthy updates on how they are all doing. Plus she pays attention to the little details, like their very different personality traits! It's obvious how much Randy genuinely loves cats, so yours will be in loving hands with her. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
