Recently I have been pet sitting with another app since 2023. I have plenty of experie... I've had family pets that I have cared for including a dog and cat. I was a cat sitter for the Pawfect Day company in college. With that job I had to take the Cat & Dog First Aid training with the Red Cross.
Recently I have been pet sitting with another app since 2023. I have plenty of experience pet sitting cats regularly for returning clients and I am looking to expand. I have plenty of experience taking care of cats who have had medical issues or require medication.
I work from home Wednesday - Friday, so I have a fairly flexible schedule where I can pet sit any day of the week.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for 3 years total. 1 year in college and recently got back into it 2 years ago. I also grew up with a cat.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy the chance to get to hang out and cuddle/play with cats. My current roommate is unfortunately allergic so I enjoy any opportunity I can take to hang out with cats.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
My advice is to set up a meet and greet. It's great for both the cat owner and sitter. That way the cats first interaction with the cat sitter is when the owner is at home which can help with any anxiety. Also it gives the sitter a chance to go over the cat's schedule and ask any questions that they may have.

Tracey has cared for Poppy a few times and has been exceptional! This most recent visit, Poppy had some stomach issues that Tracey was sure to keep us updated on. Despite Poppy having a few accidents, Tracey was always very positive in her messaging! I would highly recommend Tracey for her communication and professionalism. :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Flushing cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
