What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to meet so many amazing, adorable cats, sending owners pictures of their animals and regularly updating them throughout the day, and being able to provide owners with the peace of mind that their fur-baby is in good hands, so that they can focus on enjoying their vacation and not worrying about the well-being of their cat.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting job was assisting a fellow cat fosterer who was caring for a nursing cat and kittens. The foster had to briefly go out of town due to an emergency, and I was able to step up. This job required special attention to ensure that the mother cat was providing all the babies proper attention. I regularly weighed the kittens to ensure their stable development, and even stimulated them to use the bathroom. It was hard to leave without wanting to take one of the kittens as I had gotten attached to them all by the end, but I helped ensure that they all went to loving, trusted homes

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

By ensuring all windows are secure and screened, all doors are fully closed where applicable, all loose wires, cleaning products, and other potential hazardous objects are put away. I always make sure to provide the cat with plenty of attention and stimulation so they don’t get bored and start playing with potentially dangerous household objects.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
