Thank you for considering me as a catsitter for your baby! I've had cats all my life, and I worked at a catsitting company for a year until my boss retired. I have extensive experience with cats, including those with chronic health issues. I've cared for many through my old job, and my cat, Agape, has a history of chronic illness and surgery. I love animals, and am currently in college studying animal behavior!
In my visits, I like to meet the cat(s) wherever they're at. I offer my attention, but if they're anxious or shy, I'm happy to allow them all the time they need! I believe in building trust, and I want your cat to trust me as their temporary carer. I'm experienced in giving oral medication (liquid or pills) and topical ointments. If your cat has other medical requirements or accommodations that I haven't listed, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask about it!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I worked for a catsitting company for one year, until my boss retired. I have frequently cat-sat for friends and Meowtel clients since then!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one cat, his name is Agape! He is 7 years old, and an absolute character. He loves to cuddle with me, and wakes me up for food early in the morning. He loves to lay in the sunlight from the window, and to play with his string toys!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I have a prepared set of questions that I bring to every meet & greet session! What I ask will mostly include information about the cat, but I'll also ask about key access and update preferences so that you can have a calm, stress-free vacation. I will also send a text update and photo(s) of your cat after each visit!

Excellent sitter. Was very accommodating, responded quickly, and had a set of questions ready to make sure she was able to provide the best care for my cat. And not just logistical questions, but personality questions like where the cat likes to hide or what toys she likes the most. During her visits, Winona sent update messages and many pictures of my cat having a wonderful time playing and eating. Winona was able to easily resolve an issue where my cat had gotten into the churru stash overnight and she cleaned up, found a secure spot for the remaining churrus, and also provided me followup updates on my cat's behavior and health to make sure there weren't any negative effects from her ad hoc churru feast. Highly recommend.

Every day she took care of my cat, she sent me multiple pictures and a detailed check in. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
