If you're looking to hire a cat sitter, my best advice is to choose someone who truly understands and respects feline behavior. Cats can be sensitive to change, so it’s important to find a sitter who will be patient, calm, and willing to go at your cat’s pace.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, my typical process starts with a detailed conversation to understand their cat’s personality, routine, and any special needs or preferences. I ask about feeding schedules, favorite toys, medical requirements, and any quirks or behaviors I should know about. If possible, I like to do a meet-and-greet before the actual sitting begins to introduce myself to both the cat and the owner, so the cat can get comfortable with me in a low-pressure setting.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
