I'm Robin | Cat Sitting in Akron, OH
READ: My void is nearing the end of her journey. I've removed all availability for now and will put it back when I'm ready. If we've worked together before, please don't hesitate to reach out! Hello, fellow cat-lover! I’ve been a cat parent/sibling my whole life. My soulmate-cat, Clyde, who passed when he was 21 and I was 24, kickstarted my love of cats from a young age. I’ve always had a special connection with cats, something that has been remarked upon by many people. I lived in Florida in 2020 and developed a close relationship with the stray cat colony in my apartment complex. Neighbors would remark to me on how they’d never seen these cats interact with anyone aside from me. Though I wasn’t able to TNR them during my time there, I’ve since coordinated with fellow cat-lovers in the community to TNR the colony. Currently living with me, I have a 21-year-old black cat named Blue and a 2.5-year-old black and white tux named Chicory. Living with my parents are my 14-year-old orange tux named Dewey and his soul sister, a 7-year-old dog named Sparkle. Dewey has been with me since he was a kitten, but while living with my parents while I was in grad school getting my Master's of Library and Information Science, he and Sparkle bonded to such an extent where we couldn’t stand separating them. In 2020, I lost my 17-year-old, Silver, to cancer and my parents 14-year-old, Digit, to diabetes. During Silv’s illness, I administered medication in a variety of formats, as well as post-op care after his surgery (while successful, the cancer unfortunately spread a few months later). I’d also taken care of Digit for my parents at many points during her illness, including following detailed food and medication instructions. Additionally, Digit was a timid - though loving - cat, so I often would have to coax her out of her hiding spots to administer insulin shots. Recently, Blue has been receiving subcutaneous fluids three times per week, as well as numerous daily medications in both pill and liquid form. I administer all of these (with some assistance from my sig...

Frequently Asked Questions
Every Meowtel cat sitter has been thoroughly vetted, background-checked, and is insured through Meowtel on eligible reservations via our Meowtel Promise. To ensure total peace of mind while you're away, every Meowtel reservation comes with a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can have full confidence in your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress for your kitties. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend that you book daily visits with your sitter to keep your cats in their routine and to help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each Meowtel cat sitting visit will include the whole 9 yards: feeding, refreshing the water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, as well as any special requests you may have. We know every kitty is different and that's why we offer tailored, in-home services since cats don't do well outside their own homes. Plus, every reservation comes with a free Meet & Greet so you can meet your sitter before you leave to ensure it will be a purrfect fit.
