I have been a cat lover since I was born. I grew up with two cats who were my entire life. Now, I am not able to have a cat with my living situation, but I love to cat sit for neighbors, friends, and family.
Being around cats makes me so happy, and I want to make your cat(s) just as happy! When I am visiting a cat, I tend to bring a calm energy, and I try to mimic their normal schedule that they are used to.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I had two cats named Molly and Scout growing up, and they were my entire life! I learned a lot about taking care of cats from them, and those skills I take into my pet sitting jobs!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I want to make sure that not only the cat is comfortable but you are comfortable! I want to make sure to stay in close contact and hear any worry or concern you may have because it keeps both of us at ease. Cats are family, and I will do anything it may take to ensure your cat is in safe hands!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I never want to push a cat out of it’s comfort zone, and if they are not wanting to interact with me at first, that is okay. Getting to know a cat can be a slow process, so I ensure that the cat comes to me on its own terms. Slowly building trust is so important, while ensuring they have their necessities at the same time!!

Lily was great! She sent us updates and pictures every morning. We were very anxious leaving our cats, as both of our girls don't get along, and our boy is 16 years old with some extra needs. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet with Lily long, as I met her in passing, so my husband met with her to do a walk-through before we went out of town. He texted me after Lily left and said he already felt at ease leaving our babies in Lily's hands. We really got to enjoy ourselves while we were out of town because of Lily. We will certainly contact her again for our kitty needs in the future:) Thank you so much Lily! You were so wonderful!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Berea cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
