Every cat is different, and I’m happy to play with energetic cats or simply keep quieter ones company ... Hi! I’m Summer, and I’ve had 2 cats for almost my whole life. I currently have one of my own (a cute orange devil).

Every cat is different, and I’m happy to play with energetic cats or simply keep quieter ones company and respect their space. I understand how sensitive cats can be, and it’s my priority to make your baby (or babies) as comfortable as possible.
I also care deeply about animal welfare and once took an injured stray cat to the vet to make sure it received the surgery and care it needed.
I’ll treat your cat like my own and send plenty of photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I have had 2 cats in my life. My first cat’s name was Jasmine, she was a beautiful tabby. She unfortunately passed away due to cancer. I have another cat currently named Simba. He’s a Persian-Himalayan, he’s orange…. So he’s crazy. But I adore him!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would say make sure you communicate your expectations clearly. If your cat follows a strict schedule, make sure to let the sitter know. If you want regular updates and pictures of your cat, let them know! It’s our job to cater to you and your cat’s needs.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I never force interaction and always let the cat set the pace. I’ll speak softly, move calmly, and give them the space they need to feel safe. I typically offer my hand to let them get familiar with my scent before trying to interact with them. If they want attention, I’m happy to play or cuddle, and if they prefer to hide or observe from a distance, I respect that while making sure they have everything they need. My goal is to make their routine feel as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
