Every cat is different, so I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, favorite toys, hiding spots, and any medications or special instructions. During the visit I follow the routine as closely as possible so the cat's environment stays predictable. I also send updates and photos so the cat parent knows everything is going well. Because I work remotely, I tend to spend a good amount of time in the home, which helps cats feel more comfortable. My goal is to make the experience easy and low-stress for both the cat and the owner.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Safety and routine are my top priorities. I double-check doors, windows, and any instructions the owner provides about keeping the cat indoors and secure. I also make sure food, water, and litter are maintained regularly so the cat's environment stays clean and comfortable. I follow the owner's instructions carefully and keep communication open during the sit. If anything unusual comes up, I notify the owner right away. Since I run my own business and work remotely, I spend a lot of time working quietly in the home, which means the cat has regular supervision and the home remains occupied and secure.

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
