I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I take the t... I’m a lifelong animal lover and I can’t imagine a home without pets. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience watching other people’s cats whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or overnight stays, and I’m comfortable administering medication when needed.
I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I take the time to learn their routines, respect their boundaries, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away.
My schedule allows me to provide attentive, dependable care and plenty of quality of time. You can expect clear communication, photo updates, and a home treated with the same respect I would want for my own babies.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I started cat sitting for friends 10 years ago and quickly realized how much I love helping other pet owners feel at ease while they’re away. Since then, I’ve cared for cats overnight in their homes, administered a variety of medications, followed detailed feeding routines, and made sure each cat gets the attention and affection they need.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
At most I had 3 kitties and they were Elliot, Sydney, and Oliver. They had since crossed the rainbow bridge and I am actually looking for the next buddy to bring into our home! My son is 2.5 years old and adores cats and has been asking for a kitty for awhile now!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always let timid or anxious kitties come to me on their own time. I let them set the pace and never try to force interaction. I like to move slowly, speak quietly, and stick closely to their routine so they feel safe and calm.

Emma watched my two cats multiple times while I traveled out of town, and did an amazing job. She sent photo updates and let me know how they were while I was gone, as well as administered medication as they were older cats. She not only gave them care but also love and attention, playtime and cuddles which made me much more at ease when I had to leave them. They both adored her and always seemed happy and content when I’d return! Definitely recommend Emma for your animal care needs!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Cleveland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
