What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been pet sitting for 15 years with the last eight years being a professional, full-time cat sitter. I have experience with all temperaments, from Kitties who like to play, kitties who like to cuddle and kitties who just want to sit next to you while they figure out if they like you.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

When I lost my 21 year old Maine coon, I told him to send me two kitties through the cat distribution system when he thought I was ready. Well the joke is on me and he sent me four kitties. I have a mom and three of her sons. Freya is the mama and her sons are Thor, Loki, and Odin.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I always offer free meet and greets prior to the first initial booking. This gives cat parents a level of comfort having met me and putting a face to the person caring for their pets. The first cat sitting, I make sure I communicate very well about how the kitty is doing and send lots of pictures. This I think gives a new cat client peace of mind.

Lea was fantastic with both of my cats. She was caring and took extra time to make sure she had all the care details for my older diabetic boy (who is also on other medications). Lea also managed to convince my little cat that hides to come out and socialize. I was pleasantly surprised to see pictures of her out and about. The pictures of them hanging out, receiving affection and treats, and playing were wonderful. Lea did an amazing job and I would recommend her!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
