What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I am a cat lover by nature and I love getting to know each cat’s personality. No two cats are alike! I love figuring out what makes each cat feel comfortable and building that trust with them over time.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
The cat distribution system got me 14 years ago and I have been the happiest person since. My senior cat is named Mittens (she does not have any “mittens”) because we had never had a cat before and younger me thought an appropriate name for a cat was Mittens. I love her so much, she’s even college educated!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My process for working with a new cat parent is starting with a meet and greet so I can get to know both them and their cat. During the visit, I like to get to know the cats personality, routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, hiding spots, any medications they might need, and special preferences or concerns the owner might have. I like to have any emergency contacts and vet information as well. The goal is to keep the cats routine as consistent as possible while their family is away!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
