I have experience in all types of life situations with our cats who have even enjoyed traveling with us. I have 18 years of experience with cats through all life stages... Hello I'm Kerri. I have 2 ornery cat babies. Coal is a grumpy old man who is probably my soul cat. My other, Bandit, is a feisty playful "teenager" that is a definite match to my teenager. He literally follows her while grumpy lays claim to me. I love the individual personalities each person can bring out in a cat.
I have experience in all types of life situations with our cats who have even enjoyed traveling with us. I have 18 years of experience with cats through all life stages. I have bottle fed and I have mourned old age and passing.
I am able to adapt any type of care your precious one(s) need. And sometimes you have a cat who isn't a people person but scratches and bites don't freak me out. I hope to never put a cat in that situation but if medicine or special circumstances are there I am not the type to shy away.
Preparing a meal a specific way or adhearing to a routine is not a problem. And if you are ok with it, I bring my teen daughter with me to teach responsibility, learn about earning money, and she has a huge heart full of care.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Have a clear picture of what you are hoping for in a sitter and commucate your expectations. And expectations and boundaries or rules are not usually the same. You of course should have hard lines but if you have things you would like to take place we need to know that also.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available during most holidays with advanced notice. If full time live-in Is required I ask that my daughter be allowed part of the time, though she can stay at home to take care of our fur babies.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I am a very calm, very patient person. I have a deep respect for cats needing autonomy and needing to approach you at their own pace. I will always try to gain a cats trust and friendship but if a cat has been scared or harmed that is not a easy thing. I have watched one cat and I was barely allowed to get close enough for him to smell my hand but his owner was able to hold him.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
