I’m Amy and I’m a reliable and dependable cat sitter with a lifelong love for feline companions. I’ve grown up with cats and understand how special and unique each one is. At home, I have two wonderful fur babies of my own—Mojo and Gypsy—who mean the world to me.
I know that leaving your beloved cat in someone else’s hands can be one of the hardest parts of being away. That’s why I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, and comforting environment where your cat feels secure, cared for, and loved. Daily litter cleaning, water and food refills, photos, and playtime (or personal space depending on your kitty’s personality) are provided with every visit.
I’m also happy to help with small household tasks like picking up your mail or watering your plants while you’re gone, if requested.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have to fur babies- Mojo and Gypsy. They are both years old and I adore them. Mojo requires medication every other day for his allergies.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Making sure the cat(s) are safe is the most important thing. Cats are great escape artists and making sure I am the only one going into or out of the entery door is the highest priority. Then making sure any string or rubber bands are out of reach.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Each cat is different so it’s always important to get a feel for them. I’ve found that most cats I’ve been around would rather come to you on their time and terms until they are comfortable. If I cat was very anxious I would find an area they could see me and sit and give them space until they felt comfortable. I would also try to give treats (if allowed) and draw them out with play time.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
