Hello my name is Lynda, I am a retired hair stylist with 40 fabulous years at JCPenney styling salon, with extra time on my hands and a heart full of love for animals. I've turned my passion into purpose, caring for cats while they're humans are away. I've looked after the Furry Royals of neighbors and friends for years and I treat every Furry Royal like my own.
Whether your kitty is shy sassy or just needs a lap to nap on I'm here with cuddles calm energy and plenty of playful time.
In addition to providing love and companionship I understand how important the daily routines are in a cat's care I always make sure that the litter box is fresh and clean water is always fresh and food as well.
In addition I am experienced in administrating oral medications and giving insulin injections.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
There is something special about caring for cats I just adore animals especially cats let's be honest they're a bit Royal. Caring for them feels less like a job and more like a privilege
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I'm a dependable retired professional who takes the safety of your Royal cats and home seriously I follow all instructions carefully keep routines constant and communicate openly drug-free I live a quiet and responsible lifestyle so you can trust your pets and home are in carrying capable hands.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am usually available during holiday time as I I'm retired and have time on my hands to give to others .
What is your favorite cat toy?
My top cat toys for playtime are feather wands and small catnip filled mouse toys. One of my kitties would play fetch and return, with mouse dropped at my feet.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I find the best practice is to let the kitty come to me on their own time. Usually feeding time is when they come out. I wait until they discover me. If you have treats , I would hold in my hand or place it near me. I call their names, use their names when greeting. I'm patient.

We were heading out for a few days and our usual cat sitters were unavailable. I searched online and found Lynda with MEOWTEL in my area. She stopped by for a visit to familiarize herself with our 5 cats and their routine. I could tell she was a cat person and really enjoyed what she did. We definitely felt like we were leaving our cats in good hands. During our time away, Lynda sent us updates and pictures of our cats. We will definitely book Lynda again and can highly recommend her.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Medford cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
