Whether your cat is a low energy loafer, a kitten with crazies to get out, or the shy type who needs a little extra to feel safe, I will tailor our visits to ensure they get just what they need.
I also know the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for your kitty, and will make sure litter boxes are always scooped, feeding areas are kept tidy,... I'm a full-time, feline exclusive caregiver with a lifetime of knowledge in caring for cats of all ages and temperaments…. AKA a professional cat lady! My promise to you and your kitty is to provide not only exceptional care but also loving companionship while you’re away.

Is there such a thing as too many cat photos? I sure hope not because I tend to send a lot! I’ll also include a little report from each visit of what we got up to that day and how your sweetie is doing.
If your kitty always hides under the bed when company comes, then I’m the cat sitter for you! I have extensive experience working with shy and fearful cats and am especially proud of the number of kitties whose trust I’ve earned. There is no higher compliment then “wow, they never done that with anyone but us!” I use a methodology developed for socializing feral cats to make sure they know they’re in control and respected, so they can feel safe enough to come out of their shells instead of dreading your away time.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each kitties’ unique personality and earning their trust. Especially extra shy, cats, cats who are anxious when their people are away, or cats whose people worry extra - knowing what to expect takes the stress of of your away days and helps them feel secured and loved even when they miss you.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two very sweet and floofy house panthers who are brother and sister. Tanuki is a wild guy with a heart of gold; his favorite things are belly rubs, chasing springs, and getting/giving kisses. Kitsune is a little more shy but all sweetness once she warms up; her favorite things are meal time, hunting strings, meal time again, and being near her people.

I’m available all major holidays and most weekends to make sure your kitty has care whenever you want to travel.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Portland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
