What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been a cat sitter for 10 years. It all started when I was 15 and my neighbor needed help with her animals while she was gone. I fell in love!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

To put it simply I love animals with my whole heart. I help and take care of them with every ounce of energy I have. I would say I’m a true animal lover through and through.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite reservation was meeting an elderly kitty that is diabetic. Her name was Anne and she would always hide under the bed because she knew I was there to give medication. After a while she would run to me when I came in the door instead of hiding. It’s rewarding for me and the kitty to overcome the fear they have. I earned the trust of Anne but also made a friend.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have Maya and Jax. I have had Jax since a kitten and I adopted Maya when she was one year.

Emily was absolutely terrific! My cats were a bit shy when she came for the meet & greet but by her first visit, they were besties. She keep me updated at all times & sent pictures. She listened to everything that my cats liked & went above and beyond for them. I truly could not have found a better cat sitter. I will be using her moving forward anytime I travel. She’s so sweet, kind and trustworthy. The house looked amazing when we came back which we didn’t need or expect from her but she did it anyway! 10/10

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
