I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean litter box, and any medications they need. I also pay close attention to their behavior, appetite, and mood so I can catch if anything seems off. As a cat mom myself, I know how much peace of mind it brings to know your pets are being cared for with patience, love, and genuine attention while you’re away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Playing with cats and giving them love. Every animal is different, but if they’ll let me give them affection, I sure as heck will take that opportunity

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! My first fur baby is Luna, a black domestic shorthair. She is five years old. My newer fur baby is MooMoo, a black and white domestic shorthair. He is new to our family so we are not sure how old he is but he is spry and full of energy. My cats mean everything to me!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Make a list of everything that’s a priority for your animal and communicate that to your sitter. If you feel like it’s not a good fit due to the sitter’s limitations, trust your gut. Your animal only deserves the best!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
