I grew up with cats, but despite being a huge cat lover, I currently don't have any of my own, due to my unfortunately allergic husband. I volunteered for PAWS and ACCT at various pet store locations for several years pre-pandemic, taking care of the cats that were available for adoption. At the PAWS location, we had a set list of responsibilities during our shifts, including feeding, cleaning the cages and litter boxes, administering medication as needed, facilitating meetings between potential adopters and the cats, and processing applications. The ACCT location had a dedicated staff for these things, so volunteers were mainly encouraged to just spend time with the cats, but I did assist with feeding and cleaning as needed. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
