What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love being able to provide pet parents with comfort and peace of mind for them knowing that their cats are happy, fed, and safe, as well as the added benefit of making sure your home is secure as well on my way out.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 cats right now named Sharpie (1) and Noodle ( 6 months)! I’ve owned cats my whole life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Look for a cat sitter that has good reviews as well as trusted sources. During the meet and greet, go with your gut. If you don’t feel comfortable or secure with them, you’ll feel that way the whole time. Safety and top notch care should be a number 1 priority.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to keep an open line of communication with the pet parent and respond as soon as possible to a reservation request. Then I like to discuss what the reservation consists of, times, days, and if my work schedule allows me to be present when needed. Then we move on to the meet and greet stage!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always make sure there’s no objects or garbage around that could be a danger, such as zip ties or twist ties, long strings, etc, and always ensure no kitties are closed in washers/dryers, cabinets, or let outside accidentally.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I will never overstep a cat’s boundaries and always let them come to me, instead of the other way around. Trust is not forced.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
