I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, insured through PCI, and I have experience with senior cats, as we... I have over 6 years of cat experience and am hoping to become a feline behavior consultant in the future! Cat behavior is one of my passions, and I currently have 3 cats of my own.
I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, insured through PCI, and I have experience with senior cats, as well as with administering medications. I will always prefer to stick to what your cat is comfortable with, so knowing their routines will be very helpful for me!
I do work a full time job, but I will always be transparent with my schedule and the times I would be available to drop-in.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting off platform for 5 years now, and have been cat sitting on Meowtel for a year.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3 cats of my own! I have one girl cat, Piper, who is a 6 year old shorthair cat. My second cat is named Gimli, and he’s a senior, FIV+ rescue cat, who’s also a munchkin. My third cat is named Archie, and he’s a 5 year old rescue Persian; he came from a hoarder house in Louisiana!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I will always encourage doing a meet and greet and making sure YOU feel comfortable with the sitter. It is definitely crucial to make sure your pet feels comfortable with them, but it’s also important for you to trust your sitter as well. It is also helpful to give very specific directions to set everyone up for success!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I am typically available most holidays unless I have another booking! The only holiday I am usually unavailable for is New Years Eve.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I love caring for shy/anxious kitties! The most beneficial way to approach these situations is to allow the cat to come to you, so that is exactly what I do. I will never force a cat to meet me, and I am actively reading their body language at all times to assess the situation and their comfort levels. Cats are naturally curious, so I will also use toys and treats to entice them. Slow and calm movements are a must as well!

Riley was super communicative both before the booked dates and during the visit. Lots of detail about how the visit went, if Seamus was being playful, how much of his prior wet food feeding he’d eaten, etc. I was pretty nervous leaving Seamus alone for this trip and having Riley come by really helped.

Riley was amazing! He is super responsive, asked a lot of great questions in the lead up and meet and greet, and was really responsive during the visits. He sent photos and gave great updates, made sure there was food and water and made sure everyone got attention and play time. I have a -complex- cat and Riley was able to give her medicine, and persisted even when she was being difficult. He was super flexible with visit times to line up with medicine schedules, and he really read my cats' cues and was very observant. I would highly recommend!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Coventry cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
