I’m a huge cat lover and I think they tend to be ... I have two of my own cats at home, Louise and Kyle. Louise has some illnesses I manage so I have lots of experience with the vet, giving oral medication and keeping a special eye on her. Kyle lived on the streets as a kitten and suffers with ptsd and can get overstimulated so I’ve really learned about cat boundaries with him.
I’m a huge cat lover and I think they tend to be more drawn to me. I have a quiet and calm personality where I really can make the cat feel comfortable and safe. There’s nothing more satisfying than winning over a cat. Cats choose you.
Fun fact: My love for cats is so strong that I started a cat obsessed art brand called LMH Artwork. I paint these little mini portraits of kitty faces. Your cat might end up on one of them!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve had experience with taking care of cats all my life. My grandfather had multiple cats when I was little. In high school and college, I regularly took care of my neighbors cat named Kiwi. 2 years ago, I got two of my own and they’re my entire life.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Learning their personalities! They’re such silly creatures. My Louise always looks annoyed and is yelling at me for more food but will never scratch or bite. Versus my Kyle will bite me if he’s too happy about our snuggling. Cats are ridiculous and I love them for it
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My neighbors cat Kiwi. She was a sweet little black cat who demanded my undivided attention when I would come over to see her. If I was focused on my phone for a second too long she would start chewing on my hair in retaliation. I watched her all throughout high school and college. She recently passed and I painted her mom a portrait to honor her.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
