I live with my husband in a small house in Tucson. I have 3 resident cats, some community cats I feed every day and many fosters in and out. My kitty gang have their own bedroom with cat trees, carpeted shelves to climb on and tons of toys. I always say my cats own me!
I also love photography. I often set up a photo shoot with my cats and fosters if they cooperate. Great pictures help the fosters get adopted fast.
I also like hiking and travel... I am a Certified Vet Tech with over 20 years experience in Feline Only medicine. I have done kitty sitting for the past 20 years as well. I can do medical treatments, give oral meds, give injections, give fluids and check glucose levels. I am truly a crazy cat lady. I love all cats, the sweet ones and the spicy ones.

We went on a road trip to CO and went to a ghost town outside Aspen and found a 5 month old kitten hanging around the parking lot, literally in the middle of the Rocky Mountains! Of course I grabbed him up. We had to stop in Aspen CO and pick up supplies for the night as it was late. We snuck him into the hotel. I put the carrier into a big cooler with the lid propped open in the middle of my bags on a cart. Walking by the front desk he was singing away. Thankfully they didn't hear him.
The next day instead of going to Vail, we took the 5 hour drive to Boulder to bring him to the Humane Society. They checked for a microchip and he had been reported missing a few days before not far from Boulder! How he got 5 hours away is a mystery.
We had planned on going back after the 5 day hold to get him if he hadn't been claimed but his people came to get him.
That's who I am. I will take awesome care of your fur babies while you're away. You can rest assured they will be in the best hands.

I could not have found a better cat sitter than Susan. It was clear from the initial meeting that Susan loved cats, understood cats, and knows her stuff when it comes to caring for them. She was also more than accommodating--she generously obliged me when, at the last moment, I asked if she might be able to come by twice each day rather than once as we had arranged. Thanks to Susan, I had a stress-free trip. Each day she took the time to send me a text about how my kitty was faring accompanied by a cute picture. And I knew if something unforeseen happened, my kitty would be in the most capable hands. I'll be calling Susan again. I highly recommend her.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Portsmouth cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
