I have experience with administering topical and oral medications, and am willing to learn how to administer injections as well.
Detailed attention, however, isn’t limited to cats with medical needs! One of the things that I love most about... Cats are my life! Always have and always will be! I started cat sitting almost 8 years ago and in that time I’ve provided care to cats of all ages, including those with medical conditions.
I have experience with administering topical and oral medications, and am willing to learn how to administer injections as well.
Detailed attention, however, isn’t limited to cats with medical needs! One of the things that I love most about cats is just how different and unique their personalities are! Part of what makes being a cat sitter so special to me is that each kitty has their own quirks and preferences (read: demands). Maintaining routines is an essential key for cats to feel safe and secure when their humans are gone and such a huge part of their life is disrupted.
I’ve looked after cats who need moral support during meals(close company and soothing words), those that will only drink water from a specific sink or shower, and even ones that dont allow shoes or socks in certain rooms.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite is with a cat named Ellie. She’s an incredibly shy tortie who I have been looking after for several years now. She is so shy and afraid of strangers that I didn’t catch a single glimpse of her in person during any of my visits for an entire year! I had many week long reservations with her during that year and each time I would spend the visit gently talking out loud while I prepared her food and cleaned the litter. Eventually, I started hearing her climbing down the stairs but remaining hidden so I began to sit at the bottom of the steps and wait. After one year of gentle patience, she finally trusted me enough to come out of hiding and meowed at me from the top of the stairs! That was one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two perfect baby angels that are named Bagel and Oatmeal! Bagel is a 6.5 y/o orange girl that yells at me if I don’t go to bed on time. Oatmeal is a 4 y/o tortie girl that believes cuddling is her full-time job.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am always available during the holidays! As a general rule, I don’t travel during the holidays and its one of best decisions i’ve ever made!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
