Hi, I’m Alexandria! I’m a calm, caring, and attentive cat person who genuinely enjoys spending time with cats and getting to know their individual personalities. As a cat owner myself, I understand that every cat is different. Some want affection and playtime, while others need patience and space before they feel comfortable.

I’m intuitive and pay close attention to body language, behavior, appetite, and anything that seems unusual. During each visit, I’ll follow your instructions carefully, refresh food and water, clean the litter area, provide playtime or affection based on your cat’s comfort level, and make sure everything is secure before leaving.

Communication is very important to me. I’ll message you when I’m on my way, let you know when I arrive, and send photos and updates during the visit. Once the visit is complete, I’ll provide a clear summary of how your cat was doing, what was completed, and anything I noticed.

What sets me apart is that I don’t view cat sitting as simply completing a checklist. I enjoy their presence and want them to feel safe, understood, and cared for while their person is away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, respectful of your home, and committed to giving you peace of mind from the moment I’m on my way until the stay is officially over

Learn More About Alexandria

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is spending time with each cat and learning their unique personality. I love earning their trust, helping them feel safe and comfortable, and giving them affection or space depending on what they need. It’s rewarding knowing that I can care for someone’s cat while also giving their owner peace of mind.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Felix (tuxedo) is my cuddle bug. He was very shy at first but after a couple days he opened up. Lucky (gray) we found her in a box on the side of the road, thankfully we saw her, she had a cut lip from an open tuna can, but she ended up being okay, and that is why she got named Lucky. Joey (tiger)he is a lover and a fighter he loves to eat catgrass and play fight with the other cats and chase. Churchill (black) is a lover boy as well and will do anything for your food haha.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process starts with learning about your cat’s personality, normal routine, feeding schedule, litter-box needs, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I also make sure I understand how to access and secure your home and who to contact in an emergency. For every visit, I’ll message you when I’m on my way and confirm when I arrive. I’ll carefully complete the requested care, spend quality time with your cat at their comfort level, and pay attention to their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. I’ll send photos and an update so you know how everything is going. Before leaving, I’ll check that your cat is comfortable, your home is secure, and everything is in its proper place. I’ll then send a final visit summary and promptly communicate anything unusual I notice.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Fort Mill cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
