I'm Marybeth and have loved animals my entire life. As a cat parent for many decades and foster mom to hundreds of felines over the past 15 years, I have cared for a variety of personalities from spicy hissies to extremely loving.
As a long-time volunteer in shelter environments both with adoptable cats and kittens not yet ready for adoption, I am experienced with varying cat attitudes. I understand cat body language and work to make every cat as comfortable as possible when I'm in their presence. My main goal is to ensure your cat is respected and well cared for during your absence.
It would be my pleasure to meet and care for your furbaby. Reservations include a free meet for new pet clients and hopeful cuddles and play if your furry baby allows.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have experience cat sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for the past 10+ years. This includes 🐈 single and 🐱🐱 multi-cat homes.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to meet new furry friends makes me happy. If the cat enjoys play, that's a bonus. If your cat is a model, I love taking photos to share with you.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My husband and I share our home with Ginny, a grey tabby. She allows me to foster many felines, but claims me as hers and tolerates others to take over my lap. We are often seen walking in our neighborhood with Ginny in the pet stroller.
What is your favorite cat toy?
It's hard to pick a favorite. Wand teaser toys are great. If a cat enjoys the laser, I will use this but like to interchange it during a play session with a toy that can physically be captured. It's also enjoyable to roll balls across the floor during play time with an added bonus if the cat/kitten retrieves or 'plays fetch'.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Having socialized many feral foster kittens and a number of stressed adult foster cats, there are a number of proven methods I use. In general, I use a patient, calm approach you may see me use during our introductory meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
